Reno area casinos' loyalty programs up ante to attract locals

RENO, Nevada -- After 29 months of declining revenue Reno Sparks area casinos are increasing customer loyalty programs and perks, the Reno-Gazette Journal reported.

Players will now receive double the number of points for money wagered than before, the RGJ report said.

The Bonanza have also embraced a Konami Gaming Systems player tracking system, the RGJ reported.
