Renamed, renovated Louisiana casino revealed

LOUISIANA – As reported by The Daily Reveille: "The Casino Rouge has a new look.

"'Play, Dine and Feel like a star' is the idea for the updated casino now renamed 'Hollywood Casino' according to a news release.

"The update includes a recent $8.5 million renovation, including new interiors, new retail offerings, an expanded live entertainment venue and memorabilia items from iconic movies and celebrities.

"The grand opening, which was Feb. 9 and 10, kicked off with a red-carpet premiere with celebrity impersonators for entertainment. Impersonators of Joan Rivers, Whoopi Goldberg, Cher, Prince and Johnny Depp were all in attendance…"
