RCMP aims to form gambling unit in New Brunswick

NEW BRUNSWICK, Canada -- A new RCMP unit will be establish in New Brunswick to deal with gambling, CBC News reported.

The unit of five officers will monitor the entire province for illegal gambling activities and the soon-to-open casino in Moncton, CBC News said.

The casino, which cost $90 million, will open in May, CBC news reported.

The RCMP unit has yet to be approved by the province, the report noted.
