Rank chief executive Ian Burke needs to see more full houses at his bingo clubs

LONDON, England -- Rank's chief executive is still hoping to persuade British PM Gordon Brown to come and visit his bingo clubs, The Telegraph reports.

Ian Burke has been in the job for four years and faced various challenges including tax hikes, smoking ban and the loss of gaming machines, the report said.

His focus now is "stabilization" and with revenue finally on the up Burke is protesting Britain's unfair bingo tax calling for a "for a flat 15pc rate of tax on all gaming companies" The Telegraph report said.
