Racino gambling at The Plainridge Racecourse

PLAINVILLE, Massachusetts -- As reported by Harnesslink: "At the Plainridge Racecourse, in Plainville, Mass., on Sunday afternoon at about four p.m., C.O.O. Gary Piontkowski outlined on a slide presentation an informational seminar on a proposed plan to erect an additional building that will house additional machines for racino gambling.

"He put together a truly outstanding program that explained why this opportunity would be a major source of income for the state and also the fact that the initial structure is there and it is located at a major intersection south of the city of Boston, making it very accessible to people in the southern region of Massachusetts.

"...The number of employees that would be involved once the building was put up and in operation numbered about 1000 people. A number that would certainly help the unemployed in the region..."
