LOUIS, Missouri -- As reported by the St. Louis Business News: "After being forced to close for a month due to flooding along the Mississippi River, President Casino, Pinnacle Entertainment Inc.'s newly renovated gaming property in downtown St. Louis, will reopen at 8 a.m. Wednesday, the company said Monday. "President Casino was forced to close temporarily when the Mississippi River topped its banks at St. Louis and flooded Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd. and the President Casino June 11. "...President Casino's admissions and revenue took another nose dive in June, according to figures released Thursday. "The casino reported an 82 percent drop in admissions with 45,493 in June compared with June 2007's 253,357. Revenue for the month was $857,643, down 85 percent from revenue of $5.5 million in June 2007..." |
