President Casino closed temporarily

ST. LOUIS, Missouri -- As reported by the St. Louis Business Journal: "For the second time in two months, the President Casino in downtown St. Louis is temporarily closing due to rising floodwaters on the Mississippi River, according to the casino's owner and operator Pinnacle Entertainment.

"The casino, restaurant and concert venue closed early Wednesday morning due to recent heavy rain in the St. Louis area and upstream on the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The casino shut down for several days in April due to rising floodwaters.

"President Casino will resume operations once floodwaters recede and workers can remove mud and other debris from the streets, parking lots, porte cochere and access ramps to the boat..."
