LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Metro Police and robbery detectives today are again asking for the public's help in identifying and finding a man who robbed Harrah's Las Vegas on Aug. 24.

At about 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 24, a man robbed Harrah's main cage, taking an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The man is described as 35 to 40 years old and 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, weighing 160 to 175 pounds with short hair, police said. He was last seen wearing a white- and brown-striped, short-sleeve shirt, light-colored shorts, black and white tennis shoes and prescription, wire-framed eye glasses.

The man was last seen on Las Vegas Boulevard South flagging down and getting into a white taxicab with red markings, heading southbound, police said.

The man pictured should be considered dangerous, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to call Metro Police's robbery section at 828-3591, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. A cash reward may be available to anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
