Police on Trail of Casino Bomber

10 August 2004

PRAGUE – As reported by the Haaretz: "Police here found a wig, pistol and hand grenade they believe were dumped by a suspect fleeing a casino bombing that hurt 18 bystanders in the city last week, a newspaper said yesterday.

"The evidence was lying inside an empty building about six blocks from the Casino Royal, where a grenade had exploded under Israeli casino owner Assaf Abutbul's sport-utility vehicle on August 1, a police source told Mlada fronta Dnes.

"… The hit man's target, Abutbul, escaped injury. Police believe the casino owner is embroiled in a mob war between two Israeli crime families."
