Pennsylvania: Hollywood Casino payout ratios drop

PENNSYLVANIA -- Hollywood Casino has seen the amount wagered decrease by 9 percent, since August, compared to last year, The Patriot-News reported.

However, due to the reduction in free play giveaways and people winning less on slot machines, the state's take and the casino's has not fallen significantly, The Patriot-News said.

Last month the casino set the slots payout rate at 90.11 percent, legally casinos slots must pay out 85 percent of what's wagered on them, the report noted.
