Pennsylvania gaming results reported

PENNSYLVANIA -- As reported by the Pocono Record: "Presque Isle recovered, Mount Airy held its ground, and the state added more than $17 million of gaming tax revenues to its coffers.

"The state's taxable gross terminal wagers grew by more than 6 percent last week to $31.6 million. Wagers grew at a slower rate, to $389 million, a 4.7 percent increase.

"...The state's slots operations paid out winnings at a slightly lower rate.

"But not Mount Airy. Its payouts grew by three tenths of 1 percent.

"...Presque Isle recovered from a week of poor performance due to heavy snows, bringing in $42.2 million in slots wagering..."
