"The state's taxable gross terminal wagers grew by more than 6 percent last week to $31.6 million. Wagers grew at a slower rate, to $389 million, a 4.7 percent increase. "...The state's slots operations paid out winnings at a slightly lower rate. "But not Mount Airy. Its payouts grew by three tenths of 1 percent.
