Pala Casino launches October poker schedule

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Southern California poker players will have more opportunities to win extra cash at Pala Casino Spa and Resort in October when the Poker Room will host the $20,000 Estimated Quantum Reload tournament starting Wednesday, 4 October until Sunday, 8 October, and the River Card Championship tournament starting Thursday, 26 October until Sunday, 29 October. Pala Poker also will host its Super Deep Stack game at 3 p.m. each Saturday, except on 7 and 28 October, when the other two tournaments are being played.

Pala Poker will continue to stream LIVE 2-3-5 No Limit Hold'em action from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. each Friday and Saturday on Facebook.

The poker room also will continue its popular Thursday Deep Stack Turbo and Friday Night 2K tournaments, will add new High Hand of the Half Hour and Weekly Fantasy Football promotions and will continue its Sunday High Hand Frenzy, Rolling High Hands and Chase for the Dough promotions.

The schedule for the five-day-day, $20,000 Estimated Quantum Reload tournament will include:
Day 1A, 6 p.m., Wednesday, 4 October
Day 1B, 6 p.m., Thursday, 5 October
Day 1C, 6 p.m., Friday, 6 October
Day 1D, 2 p.m., Saturday, 7 October
Day 1E, 7 p.m., Saturday, 7 October
Day 2, 1 p.m., Sunday, 8 October

The buy-in will be $80 with $10,000/$5,000 in chips with a $15 optional bonus buy. There also will be a $50 add-on for an additional $15,000 in chips, and 100% of that money will go into the prize pool. Blinds will be 25 minutes to the first six levels and 30 minutes on Day 2. Fifteen percent of each day's players will advance to Day 2 and receive $150. If players qualify twice, they will receive $450 from the prize pool and must surrender their lowest stack.

The schedule for the $20,000 estimated River Card Championship will include:
Day 1A, 6:00 p.m., Thursday, 26 October
Day 1B, 6:00 p.m., Friday, 27 October
Day 1C, 3:00 P.M., Saturday, 28 October
Day 2, 1:00 p.m., Sunday, 29 October

The buy-in will be $130 with $10,000/$5,000 in chips and a $15 optional bonus buy. There also will be a $50 add-on for an additional $15,000 in chips and 100% of that money will go into the prize pool. Blinds will be 25 minutes to the first four levels and 30 minutes on Day 2. Ten percent of each day's players will advance to Day 2 and earn $100. Players who qualify twice will receive $500, but must surrender their lowest stack.

The Pala Super Deep Stack game will be played starting at a new time, 3 p.m. each Saturday, except 7 and 28 October. The buy-in will be $125 with a $10,000 estimated prize pool. Chips will be $30,000/$10,000 with an optional $15 staff bonus buy. Re-entries will be for three levels and blinds will be 30 minutes.

Additional October tournaments will include:
Thursday Deep Stack Turbo: 7:15 p.m. The buy-in will be $45+$10 with a $1,200 guarantee and a $10 optional staff buy. Chips will be $20,000/$5,000, and there will be $10 bounties. This tournament will not be played on 5 and 26 October.

Friday Night 2K: 7:15 p.m. The buy-in will be $40+$5 with a $2,000 guarantee. Chips will be $4,000/$2,000 with a $5 optional staff buy and a $20 add-on for $10,000 chips. Late and re-entries will be allowed to four levels with a full stack. This tournament will not be played 6 and 27 October.

Players can earn a football team in the Weekly Fantasy Football promotion by playing poker and winning cash. The new High Hand of the Half Hour will be in play from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Monday through Saturday and will award $100 for Hold'em. The Sunday High Hand Frenzy will be in play from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the high hand every half hour will receive $100. Rolling High Hands will be in play from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Thursday and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each Sunday. The Chase for the Dough will offer players the opportunity to earn additional cash for playing. Forty hours of play will earn $60; 60 hours, $200 and 80, $400.
