Ontario Municipalities Receive More Gaming Money

GANANOQUE, Ontario – As reported by the Brockville Recorder & Times: "Another three months, another big payday for the host municipalities of the Thousand Islands Charity Casino.

"The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLGC) distributed two cheques worth $439,145 apiece to Gananoque and the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands Friday.

"The two municipalities share the land on which the casino was built and have shared equally more than $12.5 million since gambling operations started on June 20, 2002…"
