Gaming NewsOctober revenue down for New Orleans casinos18 November 2011NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana -- October wasn't as lucrative as September for New Orleans area casinos, according to the Times-Picayune. Revenue fell 9 percent when compared to October 2010, the report said. Statewide casino revenue was also down 7.7 percent compared to Sept and Oct of 2010, the Times-Picayune reported. Racetrack revenue was down 1.4 percent compared to last October, the report also noted. |
