NZ casino sold to Lasseters

NEW ZEALAND– As reported by the New Zealand Stuff News: "The $4 million sale of Queenstown's Wharf Casino to a Malaysian company has been approved by the Department of Internal Affairs.

"The department announced its decision yesterday to approve of the sale to Malaysian-owned Lasseters Incorporated, owners of Lasseters Hotel Casino in Alice Springs, Australia.

"…Lasseters had agreed to pay $1 for the casino company and pay off Wharf's $4m worth of debt…"
