North Dakota tribal casino won't lose jobs

NEW TOWN, North Dakota – As reported by the Minot Daily News: "Job cuts announced by the Three Affiliated Tribes this week do not affect the operation or employees of the tribes' 4 Bears Casino & Lodge.

"…The casino and lodge is owned by the Three Affiliated Tribes but is a separate entity, according to Lawrin H. Baker, executive officer for federal and tribal programs. He said the casino and lodge employ about 400 people.

"However, the tribal business council's announcement this week that the tribal employment force was being cut will have an impact on every community on the Fort Berthold Reservation, Baker said…"
