North Charleston votes for casino boats

NORTH CHARLESTON, South Carolina -- North Charleston city council voted in favour of casino boats last night, Live 5 News reported.

The boats should begin operating in January, the report said.

City council are in favour of the casino boats because it's a new source of revenue that they hope may provide up to $1 million to the local economy, according to the Live 5 News report.
