No Casino For Winnipeg Reserve

WINNIPEG – As reported by the National Post: "The chief of the Roseau River First Nation says his band will not open a casino or gaming centre on an urban reserve it plans to establish in Winnipeg.

"Chief Terry Nelson has signed a $2.2-million offer to purchase 12 hectares of land on the former Canada Packers site that's owned by the city of Winnipeg…"
