Niagara Falls all new to Ringo Starr

NIAGARA, Canada -- As reported by the Milton Canadian Champion: "Before arriving in Niagara last week to launch his 10th All Starr-studded tour, Ringo Starr had never seen the falls. For 10 days, Starr woke up every morning, opened the curtains of his hotel room window and took in Canada's wonder.

"...The tour -- which kicked off in the Fallsview Casino's Avalon Ballroom last night with another perfomance tonight -- will include returning All Starrs Colin Hay, Billy Squier, Hamish Stuart, and Edgar Winter, and first timers Gary Wright and Gregg Bissonette.

"...Starr said the Avalon Ballroom has been a sound place to rehearse and Niagara Falls is an ideal place to launch the tour.

"...The tour's 31 U.S. and Canadian dates includes a show at New York's Radio City Music Hall on June 24 and final show Aug. 2 in Los Angeles..."
