New Zealand pokie spending up post-earthquake

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand -- Pokie spending has increased in Christchurch since the earthquake, Stuff reported.

The increase of 9.4 per cent compared is attributed to post-earthquake stress, the report said.

Nationally pokie expenditure rose 3 per cent compared to 2010 figures, Stuff said.
