New Hampshire Study: Expanded gambling revenue may disappoint

21 April 2010

CONCORD, New Hampshire -- New Hampshire Gaming Study Commission's report revealed yesterday that prospective revenues from expanded gambling may fail to meet expectations, The Union-Leader reported.

Support for expanded gambling is generally high in New Hampshire, The Union-Leader said.

Industry estimates of increased state revenue of $200 million may not materialize and will depend on factors such as expanded gambling in neighbouring states, The Union-Leader report said.
