N. Charleston face vote on gambling ships

CHARLESTON, South Carolina -- North Carolina will vote on gambling boats next week, WBMF reported.

The measure proposed will allow gambling boats to depart from "the old navy base", the report said.

Depending on the outcome of the vote, boats could begin sailing by December creating competition for Little River where two casino boats are based, WBMF noted.
