Motown legend Diana Ross to perform at Four Winds New Buffalo

NEW BUFFALO, Michigan -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians' Four Winds Casinos are pleased to announce a concert by Motown Legend Diana Ross at Four Winds New Buffalo's Silver Creek Event Center on Friday, May 2, at 9 p.m. Eastern. Originally from Detroit, Diana Ross will return to her home state to entertain her fans by performing her greatest hits. Diana Ross is one of the most iconic female singers of all time and has had 12 number one singles throughout her career as the lead singer of The Supremes and as a solo artist. Tickets for the concert can be purchased beginning on Friday, February 7 at 10 a.m. Eastern, exclusively through Ticketmaster's Web site.

Diana Ross burst onto the national stage in the 1960s with The Supremes, which bridged the worlds of pop and soul. Along with Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson, the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. Ms. Ross has received numerous accolades during her solo career including a special Tony Award in 1977 for her one woman show "An Evening with Diana Ross," Kennedy Center Honors in 2007, and a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award in 2012. She was also nominated for an Academy Award for her portrayal of Billie Holliday in 1972's "Lady Sings the Blues" and is one of the few recording artists to have two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one as a solo artist and another as a member of The Supremes. Some of her biggest hits include "Stop! In The Name of Love," "Someday We'll Be Together," "Endless Love," and "Where Did Our Love Go?"

Four Winds New Buffalo's Silver Creek Event Center is a 1,500 seat, multi-use facility that is located next to the casino floor.
