Monticello casino clears hurdle

MONTICELLO, New York – As reported by the New York Times Herald-Record: "A planned $600 million casino at the Monticello Raceway has taken a huge step forward. According to track officials and published news reports, the U.S. Department of the Interior has determined that the proposed casino would have no significant environmental impact, clearing the way for final approval by the governor's office.
