Missouri Numbers Slump for July

MISSOURI – As reported by the St. Louis Business Journal: "Harrah's St. Louis Casino and Hotel in Maryland Heights was the only Missouri casino in the St. Louis area that did not report a drop in revenue in July, the Missouri Gaming Commission reported Thursday.

"Harrah's revenue remained unchanged in July at $28 million from the same month last year.

"…The Ameristar Casino-St. Charles reported the largest admissions decline among Missouri's St. Louis-area casinos, 8 percent, to 752,930 for the month from 818,364 in July last year.

"…The President Casino's revenue fell 10 percent in July as its admissions also declined 10 percent. The casino reported revenue dropped to $5.35 million in July from $5.94 million in the same month last year…"
