Mississippi: AG fights for casino workers claims

BILOXI, Mississippi -- The Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood is supporting casino workers who've been denied claims related to the Gulf oil spill, WLOX reported.

Mr Hood believes casino workers claims were denied because of the workers place of employment, the report said.

Mr Hood said while the Gulf Coast Claims Facility had admitted its error, it should not have required the workers to submit new forms for reassessment, WLOX noted.
