Gaming NewsMezey Howarth finishes first at Penn National28 May 2008SAN CLEMENTE, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Mezey Howarth Racing Stables, Inc. (OTC BB:MZYHE.OB) is pleased to announce that on May 15, 2008, Ops Overlord finished first in the ninth race at Penn National Race Course. He finished ahead three-quarters of a length, for an easy win in the race of three year olds and up. Shortly after the race, Ops Overlord was claimed (purchased). Giving credit to the horse's trainers, Paul Howarth said, "I cannot thank our trainers enough for the excitement they allow us to have, because without them we could not do this. What a fantastic job Stephanie and David Beattie did for our stables and partners on this horse." This was Ops' third win for the Company and he has placed in the money seven of his eleven races for Mezey Howarth Racing Stables. Ops Overlord was claimed before the race and Mr. Howarth wishes his new connections the best of luck in future races. The next generation The Company is also pleased to announce that Forget You, Sarah's Cool Dude and Quintara are each in foal and are expected to give birth nine to ten months from now. They are in foal from the stallion Suances (GB). Suances (GB) won 8 of 12 career starts before an accident ended his racing career. Some of his victories include; Highweighted 3YO French Free Handicap 7 1/2 furlongs, Emirates Airline Prix Jean Prat (G1), San Francisco Breeders' Cup Mile (G2) defeating The Tin Man, Decarchy and Sarafan, and Dallas Turf Cup Handicap. At the Barretts October Yearling Sale, Suances (GB) yearling's averaged $26,400-Over 10X stud fee. |
