Meadows Racetrack awards record slot jackpot

MEADOW LANDS, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Playing a $1 slot machine, a visitor to The Meadows Racetrack & Casino left with a $131,674 jackpot -- the highest in Western Pennsylvania history.

The visitor, who wishes to remain anonymous, won the jackpot Jan. 25 after playing the "Sure Thing Slots," a progressive slots machine for 20 minutes.

"The Meadows is pleased to provide this record payout," said Mike Graninger, vice president and general manager of The Meadows. "Our guests are having fun, and we couldn't be happier for all of our winners."
