Meadows Racetrack & Casino offer online booking

MEADOW LANDS, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Visitors to the Meadows Racetrack & Casino can now book overnight stays directly on the casino's Web site, Meadowsgaming.com.

To book a hotel room, visitors can go to the Web site and click on "Overnight Lodging." Reservations can be made at a variety of hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts and campgrounds. The Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency will receive 2 percent of the revenues generated from online hotel bookings.

"The Meadows is pleased to be working with the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency to provide this capability for our guests," said Meadows Vice President and General Manager Mike Graninger. "We continually receive requests for more information on places to stay in the Washington area. People really enjoy the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of our community."

The partnership with the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency is the latest attempt by The Meadows to work more closely with the local community. Since breaking ground on the now open temporary casino, The Meadows has created more than a thousand jobs and established relationships with a variety of local businesses.

The permanent $155 million casino, which includes a new racing grandstand, 200-room hotel and luxury spa is slated to open in early 2009. The permanent 350,000 square-foot facility will create 1,200 jobs.

CCR owns two highly regarded resorts in Las Vegas -- the Rampart Casino and the Cannery Casino & Hotel. Construction began in March on a second Cannery branded casino in Las Vegas.
