NORTHFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio -- As reported by the News-Leader: "Ohio's horse racing authority is pushing state lawmakers to allow slot machines at Ohio's seven tracks, including Northfield Park, without having to go to the ballot, where voters have shot down gambling numerous times in recent years.
