Man Ordered to Stay Away from Casinos

23 November 2004

KAMLOOPS, British Columbia – As reported by the Kamloops Daily News: "A judge urged a despondent man still suffering from the suicide of his gambling-addicted wife to move on and find ways to heal himself and help his family.

"Lawhead told the judge how Dilling's wife Dorothy killed herself Dec. 5, 2003, after a long battle with a gambling addiction.

"…Blair imposed the peace bond — the document is not an admission to or a conviction for a criminal offence — with terms prohibiting Dilling from going in or near casinos, lottery offices or their employees. As well, he must stay away from alcohol completely and not possess weapons of any kind…"
