Man busted for stealing lobsters from A.C. casino

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- As reported by CBS 3: "Police in Atlantic City arrested a man after he attempted to steal 91 frozen lobsters from a casino kitchen.

"Anthony Jones, 38, was caught stealing the lobsters from Bally's Hotel/Casino at about 10:00 p.m. on February 19. Investigators said the lobsters were valued at approximately $1,200.

"According to police, Jones allegedly went into the kitchen of the casino and loaded up his clothing and backpack with the lobsters.

"Upon exiting the kitchen, Jones was observed by a security worker who noticed Jones' bulky clothing.

"Jones was detained by security and eventually arrested by the Atlantic City Police Department.

"Jones, who also had an outstanding warrant from Egg Harbor Township, has been charged with theft, burglary and other related offenses.

"He is being held on $10,000 bail at the Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing..."
