Gaming NewsMan arrested in Strip casino parking lot shooting5 November 2008By Mary Manning, Las Vegas Sun LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- A 21-year-old man has been arrested and is facing an attempted murder charge in connection with a shooting that wounded another man in the leg at a Las Vegas Strip casino parking garage, Metro Police said. Garrickson Metayer was arrested after the 3:30 a.m. Saturday shooting on the Mirage parking tower's fourth floor, police said. Metayer is in the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of attempted murder with a deadly weapon, detection center records show. The shooting victim was taken to the University Medical Center for treatment of a leg wound that police said was not life-threatening. His name was not released by police. Copyright © Las Vegas Sun.
