Lucky Eagle Casino collects donations for flood disaster relief

ROCHESTER, Washington -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- To help area residents affected by the recent flooding in southwest Washington, The Chehalis Tribes' Lucky Eagle Casino and Eagles Landing Hotel are collecting nonperishable food items, clothing, toiletries, gift cards, gas cards and cash donations for distribution to local charitable organizations. Cleaning supplies and toilet tissue are the most needed items at this time. Contributions can be dropped off at the casino parking lot now through Monday, December 24th. Cash donations can be made at the casino cashier.

"Our entire region has been hit hard by the December storms," said Lucky Eagle General Manager John Setterstrom. "We wanted to become part of the relief effort as quickly as possible."

"The Chehalis Tribes have a long history of working with our friends and neighbors to help people in surrounding communities," added tribal chairman David Burnett. "By working together, we can help those people most affected by the disaster."
