Legends Casino presents free concerts

8 September 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Yakama Nation Legends Casino Hotel invites the community to celebrate in September with two concerts on the lawn as part of the Grand Celebration taking place in August and September. Saturday, 9 September kicks off the two-night series featuring The Four Tops and the Pointer Sisters. This spectacular duo will be followed on Sunday, 10 September by renowned performers Easton Corbin and Joe Nichols.

"Our community, our guests and our partners have watched with anticipation as we first completed the back of house renovations, moved on to construction of the hotel and expanded casino floor and most recently completed renovations of the old casino floor, including the poker room and keno," explained Letisha Peterson, General Manager. "As we kick off the renovation of our future event center, it's time to celebrate with our community, so we're hosting two free concerts as part of our Grand Celebration."

The family-friendly concerts will take place on the lawn, and guests will enter the area through the hotel lobby. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and the opening act will begin at 6 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. "We anticipate more than 2,000 people each evening, and seating is first come, first serve. This area has a beautiful view of the new hotel and Mount Adams," said Ms. Peterson. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for parking and follow the signs to the concert area. Concessions including hot dogs, chips and cheese, pretzels, pop and candy will be available at the concert area for a fee.

Regional guests traveling to the area are encouraged to stay and play to enjoy our new hotel and expanded casino floor. According to Ms. Peterson, "The Grand Celebration is our way of sharing our new facilities — from hotel to casino — and new amenities such as the new buffet, complimentary valet parking, a new player's club and more."

Legends Casino Hotel is Your Place to Play. The Casino includes nearly 1,500 slot machines, 18 table games including craps and roulette, a poker room, Keno, a buffet restaurant, and gift shop. It is located just minutes off 1-82 and exit 50, one mile west of Toppenish. For more information call 1-877-7-COME-11 or visit the website.
