Legendary Waters Resort & Casino to remain closed through April

1 April 2020

Legendary Waters Resort & Casino made the decision to extend its temporary closure until the end of the month. Below is the official announcement on the Wisconsin resort's website.

"With our top priority being the health and safety of our valued guests and team members, and at the recommendation of health experts, the Tribal Council for the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians has decided to extend our temporary closing through April 30th, with a target reopening at noon on Friday, May 1, 2020. In addition to the casino, hotel and restaurant, this closing notice covers Buffalo Bay and Point Detour Campgrounds, along with the Buffalo Bay Marina and boat launch.

We look forward to resuming operations when it is determined safe to do so. Many of our guests have earned entries towards winning a 2020 Polaris Ranger and we also look forward to giving that beautiful prize away in the near future; however unfortunately, we will not be in a position to award retroactive free play that would have been earned while our doors are closed.

It is our shared responsibility to follow the direction of health and safety professionals to engage in social distancing by staying home and limiting social contact – We owe it to each other, our families and to our community – Please be responsible and stay safe."
