Gaming NewsKentucky: Amendment could allow seven casinos15 February 2012FRANKFORT, Kentucky -- A constitutional amendment introduced yesterday by Kentucky's Governor could allow for up to seven casinos in the state, the Herald-Leader reported. The General Assembly needs to support the bill in order for it to move forward and be placed on a ballot which voters will decide on in November, the report said. The breakdown of proposed casino licenses would see five go to racetracks, with two licenses allocated for casinos elsewhere, according to the Herald-Leader report. |
