Kansas County to Vote on Casino

KANSAS – As reported by the Wichita Eagle: "Marion County residents will get to vote on whether they want a casino located in their county.

"County commissioners voted 3-0 this morning to put the issue on the ballot. No date has been set for the election.

"This is the second county in south central Kansas to agree to a casino vote after Sedgwick County Commissioners refused to allow a non-binding advisory vote on the issue. Harvey County agreed last week to hold a mail-in election before the Legislature convenes Jan. 9…"
