Kansas City Casinos' Revenue, Customers Increase

KANSAS CITY, Missouri -- As reported by the Kansas City Business Journal: "The Kansas City area's four casinos' aggregate revenue rose 4 percent in August from the same month last year, according to statistics the Missouri Gaming Commission released Monday.

"The Kansas City market posted revenue of $58.1 million in August, up from $55.7 million last year, the agency said in a release.

"The Kansas City market's August customer count was 968,906, up 1 percent from 957,554 last year..."
