John Conlee performs at Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland

24 May 2018

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Country music legend and Grand Ole Opry member John Conlee will bring his greatest hits to Lee Creek Tavern inside Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland on 7 June.

Conlee takes the stage for the free show at 8 p.m.

Conlee has created over 35 years of country music melodies: melodies of struggle, heartache and, finally, everlasting love that plea to everyday life.

Releasing 11 studio records and nine compilation albums since his start in 1978, Conlee has produced 26 Top 10 hits. Among his biggest hits are the No. 1 singles “Rose Colored Glasses,” “Backside of Thirty,” “Lady Lay Down,” “Common Man,” “I Don’t Remember Loving You” and “Got My Heart Set on You.”

The artist has released 29 singles over the years, with 26 charting in the Top 20 or better on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. The singer has had eight No. 1 hits on the national country charts. His 1983 MCA-released “Greatest Hits” record was certified gold by the RIAA.

Conlee was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1981.
