Job seekers flock to job fair

OKLAHOMA -- As reported by KOTV News: "About 150 service industry positions are open at the Catoosa location, but that's just a fraction of the number that must be filled when the planned expansion is complete. The News On 6's Heather Lewin reports casino officials say economic growth is sending a ripple effect through the community.

"It takes about 1,800 employees to keep things running at the Cherokee Casino. With more than 100 open positions, officials say streamlined events like this job fair are the best way to go.

"...If you missed the job fair, you can still apply online or in person during regular business hours at the casino. The open jobs are service positions including food, beverages, hotel and gaming. Those hired will start almost immediately..."
