Iowa Casino Plan Wins Approval

IOWA – As reported by the Des Moines Register: "The Mississippi Belle II's plans for a land-based casino won initial approval Thursday from the Iowa Gaming and Racing Commission.

"The company presented the board with a conceptual design. The next step is having plans drawn up, said Robert Kehl, whose family is the minority owner of the employee-owned casino.

"Once the plans are approved, the company can select a site and begin designing. Within the next few months, the plans will be presented to the IRGC, the City of Clinton, Clinton County and the Clinton County Community Development Association…"
