Gaming NewsInvestors go to high court to save Foxwoods casino project14 December 2011SOUTH PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Entertainment & Development Partners L.P. has appealed to the high court to try to save its South Philadelphia planned Foxwoods casino project, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. The four-year-old project has faced huge challenges including Steve Wynn pulling out in 2010 and the revocation of its license a year ago by the Gambling Commission Board, the report said. The appeal was filed on Monday according to the group of investors behind the project, which lost its license after construction delays, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. |
