IGT installs sbX system at Oklahoma casino

26 May 2011

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- International Game Technology today announced the installation of its sbX™ system at High Winds Casino in Miami, Okla.

"This installation once again shows the continued momentum of our server-based solution with casino operators everywhere," said Ron Rivera, IGT senior vice president of North American sales. "The sbX™ system allows High Winds Casino to access and configure the largest available library of server-based games, and to create a truly dynamic slot floor based on their players' preferences in just minutes."

As part of the sbX™ system, High Winds Casino has installed IGT Floor Manager, which integrates seamlessly with IGT's AVP® machines to deliver value and performance. IGT Floor Manager allows access to the industry's largest game-to-system game library and lets operators reconfigure a casino floor in seconds with the touch of a button. High Winds Casino will have access to more than 300 games in the IGT Game Library, with new games released monthly.

"We have been using IGT's Advantage system, so selecting sbX™ was a natural choice for us, and it reflects our commitment to be on the cutting edge of casino floor management," said Frank Haas, general manager at High Winds Casino. "The combination of access to IGT's game library and industry-leading technology will allow us to continue to offer our players the best gaming experiences."

From large to small casino properties, sbX™ is specifically designed to fit the needs of any casino floor. High Winds Casino will have the tools and resources they need to create a truly differentiated and compelling casino floor, and to focus on player loyalty. IGT has brought sbX™ to market with an emphasis on interoperability, and it is the industry's first GSA-compliant server-based solution. High Winds Casino joins a growing family of customers around the world who are optimizing their operations with IGT's server-based applications. More than 40 casinos in 10 countries have partnered with IGT for this server-based technology that delivers results to the bottom line.
