Horse group spends big to gain slot allies

FRANKFORT, Kentucky -- Kentucky horse industry group is spending big on legislative elections in an effort to defeat resistance to slot machines at racetracks, according to a report in the Courier-Journal newspaper.

"Keep Our Jobs in Kentucky" are running television ads supporting the democratic candidate, the Courier Journal reported.

"Keep Our Jobs in Kentucky" is a 527 non profit group, the paper noted.
