Hollywood Casino update due to Mississippi River levels

11 May 2011

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge announced today that the rising of the Mississippi River will not impact the operations of the casino until the river reaches 47 feet. It was previously reported that the closing level was 45 feet.

John Chaszar, Vice President/General Manager stated that “as long as we have parking, and most importantly, can provide a safe and enjoyable experience for both our customers and cast members, we will remain open. At any point we feel that the safety of any individual is at risk, we will make the decision to temporarily close operations.”
