Hollywood Casino spotlights responsible gambling

18 July 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races will support 2017's Responsible Gaming Education Week from 31 July to 6 August by spotlighting responsible gaming — a year-round, paramount commitment. As an industry leader, Penn National Gaming has adopted the American Gaming Association's Code of Conduct for Responsible Gaming at all properties.

Created by the American Gaming Association in 1998, Responsible Gaming Education Week boosts awareness of problem gambling among gaming industry employees and customers, and promotes responsible gaming nationwide.

To uphold its commitment, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races has developed and implemented a property-wide Responsible Gaming Program. This training is part of the property's responsible gaming pledge to address minors on the property, underage gambling, responsible alcohol service and compulsive gambling. All employees at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races attend Responsible Gaming training during orientation and on an annual basis thereafter.

The American Gaming Association, Penn National Gaming and Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races always encourage guests to gamble responsibly and to remember that responsible gaming is not just a slogan, it's a year-round promise.
