Hollywood Casino Perryville opens early

MARYLAND -- The Hollywood Casino Perryville opened at 8am today, a few days ahead of schedule, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Within an hour of opening 200 guests had entered, the report said.

Punters seemed happy and impressed with the "freshness of the building" and weighed up the benefits and otherwise of the location, the Baltimore Sun report noted.

The Hollywood Casino Perryville is the first of five planned casinos for Maryland to open, the Baltimore Sun reported.
