Ho-Chunk Casino Workers Laid Off

WISCONSIN – As reported by the WMTV: "55 Ho–Chunk Nation employees have been laid off, including 35 people from the Baraboo Casino.

"George Lewis is the president of the Ho–Chunk Nation. He says some of the lay–offs were a result of seasonal cuts.

"…The nation is replacing their slot machines with new machines that don't require as many employees to service them. That meant some people had to be laid–off…"
