Harrah's Louisiana Purchase Approved

LOUISIANA – As reported by KSLA-TV: "The nine-member Louisiana Gaming Control Board voted unanimously Monday to approve the sale of Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City to Harrah's Entertainment, Inc.

"Harrah's says it will pay $1.4 billion dollars to acquire the Horseshoe property in Louisiana as well as in Tunica, MS and Hammond, IN.

"…Harrah's also owns and operates Harrah's Louisiana Downs in Bossier Parish…"
